Subtask 2.2: Legal Framework and Support for Agrivoltaics

The concept of integrating agriculture with solar energy—agrivoltaics—has been gaining traction worldwide. As interest grows, governments globally are adapting legal frameworks and introducing support schemes to foster the development of this innovative technology.

In a recent workshop organized by Task 13, experts from France, Germany, Italy, and Croatia gathered to discuss the legal environment for agrivoltaics in their respective countries. This event provided a platform for a fact-based discussion on the challenges and opportunities for expanding this technology.
