IEA SHC Solar Hot Water Collaboration Group Online Workshop
This online workshop is the first meeting of the New SHC Solar Hot Water Collaboration Group and will explore key development areas for PV- and solar thermal-based hot water systems. It will focus on both emerging topics – such as IoT and smart control systems that can help overcome PV curtailment – as well as enduring technical challenges, including hard water, freezing conditions, and integration with auxiliary systems.
The session invites experts to join and participate in this new initiative which provides a platform to exchange experiences across different operating environments worldwide. Participants will be asked contribute insights on system performance, design, and integration, supporting the identification of priorities for further development and collaboration within this field.
